To expedite the process of writing your new policy, please have the following information available:

AUTO

• Driver's license, birth dates, and insurance info for all persons in household
• Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) of all vehicles to be insured (Salvaged vehicles are ineligible with MEEMIC)
• Checkbook, Mastercard or Visa to make the first down payment (we do not accept cash)
  • Prior insurance declarations sheet for each driver in the household is very helpful.
  • Copies of titles may be required to verify ownership.
  • Be sure to have addresses for any vehicle garaged anywhere away from home.
  • Lienholder name and address.

HOME

• If closing, have exact closing date and loan officer's name, phone number, and fax
• Mortgage company with address and loan number
• Birth dates for self and spouse
• Scheduled property appraisals (We need appraisals to be 6 years old or less)
• Prior insurance declarations sheet
• Checkbook, Mastercard or Visa to make the first down payment (we do not accept cash)
  • Make sure there is no unsecured pool on premise.
  • Houses with a wood burning stove in any detached structure are ineligible.
  • Year of updates on houses over 21 years old (roof, plumbing, electrical & heat).

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES

• For Boats & PWC: Length, Horsepower, Value, MC Number, Hull Number, Top Speed
• For Snowmobiles: Make, Model, Serial #, Value, Year, Lienholder, CCs (over 700 cc is ineligible for MEEMIC, but we are able to write with other carriers).
• For Motorhomes: Year, Make, Model, VIN #, Value, Type (class A or C), estimated annual miles.
